A Fresh Challenge on the Front Nine
Looking for something a little different on the course next week? Mooroopna Golf Club has an exciting format lined up for members on Tuesday and Wednesday, 21 and 22 July.
Thanks to the efforts of Captain Max Newman, the yellow tee course has been set up for the second front nine. Members will play the front nine twice, with the first round from the standard tees and the second nine played from the yellow tees, handicapped accordingly. It’s a great way to experience the course from a fresh angle and add a new layer of strategy to your game.
What to Expect on the Day
Playing the front nine twice with a shift in tee position for the second round means you’ll need to adapt your approach mid-round. The yellow tees offer a different perspective on familiar holes, making for a fun and engaging day out on the course.
A big thanks to Captain Max Newman for putting this format together. It’s a thoughtful setup that gives members a rewarding challenge while keeping things fresh and competitive.
Whether you’re a seasoned member or just getting your game into gear this winter, come on out and enjoy the round. Good luck to everyone teeing it up on Tuesday and Wednesday!
